An encounter with a carpet Mohtashem must inevitably leave a trace, a emozine strong, if this does not happen ... ... ... ... means that we are facing an old fine Kashan carpet , not the most prestigious manufacturing of the nineteenth century. Node Senneh asymmetric open left, the intensity of dark blue plants, the unusually stylized tulip pattern border, the central medallion elongated features ...leggi tuttoare commonly found but not determined. Very often Mohtashem carry a certain crudity of the drawing, a stylization of the branches of flowers reminiscent of the old Arak. I can not fail to emphasize the knotting incredibly smooth and compact that leaves the carpet soft but firm and sustained.

We define the ancient carpets before the war of 1915/18. They have hand-spun wool dyed with vegetable colors, animals or minerals. In some rare cases have been used, limited to certain colors, the first aniline dyes. Saruk rugs, knotted with vegetable colors until 1930, are included in this group
