Very rare measure in high-era carpet and perfect state of preservation are the characteristics that make this model truly unique. The large central medallion anticipates the reasons that will become famous thanks to the widespread use of the Laver rugs knotted at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Contrary to what the perfect state of preservation would suggest, the fine knotting, the colors...leggi tutto and the low shaved fleece reveal the age of the carpet to be placed before 1880

We define the ancient carpets before the war of 1915/18. They have hand-spun wool dyed with vegetable colors, animals or minerals. In some rare cases have been used, limited to certain colors, the first aniline dyes. Saruk rugs, knotted with vegetable colors until 1930, are included in this group

Devo convenire con l'amico Diego che il tappeto ha un prezzo elevato, ma facendo il rapporto qualità e prezzo e soprattutto considerando la rarità di questa qualità l'epoca e lo stato di conservazione il prezzo risulta conveniente.
