In the second part of the nineteenth century the manufacture of Kirman carpet was limited to a few examples, these were knotted in the village of Ravar a few kilometers from Kirman. per disegno e colori ha tutto, ma veramente tutto, dei meravigliosi kirman dell 800, manifattura che in epoca più tarda ha perso, dal mio personalissimo punto di vista estetico, gran parte del prestigio, adattando forme e colori alle richieste del mercato soprattutto francese. Sarei curioso di conoscerne lo stato di conservazione più in dettaglio ... Bellissimo

Ho vissuto a Teheran dal 1974 al 1979. Se qualcuno conosce questa caotica città, sarà certamente passato per la Ferdowsi Avenue: allora vi erano 10 Km di negozi di tappeti in ambedue i marciapiedi (attenti a non mettere i piedi nei jub , profondi canali di scolo acqua ecc.). Quindi ho avuto tante opportunità per vedermi con calma migliaia di tappeti persiani di ogni tipo e provenienza. Questa ...leggi tuttodelizia delle manifatture di Kerman racchiude in sè tutta l arte persiana del XIX secolo. Non è zeppo di fiorellini ma pieno di un delicatissino fascino annodato con amore.
