Proposals for designers, contemporary artists and modern "Ustad" masters in the knotting technique manual carpet, interpret modernity in strict observance of the ancient traditions

collection: Kala Laie
The Kala Laie carpets, hand-knotted in Pakistan, owe their extraordinary charm to a unique and exceptional series of qualitative combinations: fine sheep and goat wool, a mixed technique of knotting and manual weaving which makes them very soft, unusual, innovative and imaginative contemporary designs. Touching them, tasting them live, caressing them, will immerse you in an experience of harmony. "Kala Laie" for convenience literally translated "Sorry- Excuse me"; let's see its deeper meanings. First of all, the term could be translated into: "Sorry", in the sense:" Do you really mean that? Or:” with this meaning! (that of the term Kala)”. Let's immerse ourselves in the meanings of the Kala, the second principle of the Huma. In this ancient Hawaiian philosophy, Kala is its second principle. (trivially explained with: "there are no limits, everything is possible"). Now as we know, of this philosophical principle, the possible meanings and interpretations are very numerous, some closer to Jung's thought, others more extreme and metaphysical. The term which literally means to forgive but also to untie, also takes into consideration physical limits and teaches us to overcome them mentally. By dividing, untying the purely material level from the intimate, personal level, it urges us to become fully aware of the truths of the Huna. What we usually define as reality is nothing but cosmic energy of which we are part of which our mind makes its materiality concrete. So it all depends on us on our ability to consciously project our energy. KALA. The Huna rests on seven pillars, namely: IKE: the world is as you think it is; KALA: there are no limits, everything is possible; MAKIA: energy goes where attention is directed; MANAWA: now is the moment of power; ALOHA: to love is to be happy with/together; MANA: all power comes from within; PONO: Effectiveness is the measure of truth.
