Persian Kirman carpet knotted in the 19th century. This piece, Raver, as knotted in the homonymous village near Kirman, is a manufacture to be consigned to the history of the carpet. Finely knotted in a few large specimens, now almost all worn out given their age, it testifies to the great manufacture of carpets in Fahrs, southern Iran, with a dense floral design with a very fine Senneh knot. Desp...leggi tuttoite being sound in structure it has undergone a restoration carried out to perfection in the upper left corner, moreover it is a little low in the fleece and "rapé" in some places. A masterpiece still usable on the floor with great decorative impact.
