The hand-woven and embroidered Kilim comes from Morocco but is an African tribal manufacture from the 1920s/30s. Probably collected in an oasis in the Sahara desert, it was woven by the Hartani population. Given the dark colors it is certainly not easy to set up, but it remains a collector's item to be admired also for the cleanliness and simplicity of the design.

The dishes are woven kilims woven by hand with the technique knotless. The materials are wool and cotton.
