Most likely in the first decades of the 20th century, the carpet was restored on a headboard by a true knotting wizard. Technical curiosities aside, it is a splendid piece where the dark colors dyed with iron oxide are slightly lower but still perfectly solid to the warp of the carpet. The greens, yellows and soft blues stand out from the blue background, the light border with serrated leaf and calyx motifs is very bright.
