Antique Kazak carpet knotted in the southern part of the Western Caucasus. Karabagh influences are evident in the patterns of the carpet. Good state of preservation, the heads were reconstructed over thirty years ago by a good restorer who was able to make the intervention invisible.

Credo che a molti questo tappeto non piacerebbe per quello stacco di blu apparentemente ingiustificato. Personalmente trovo invece questo tappeto bellissimo per le sue asimmetrie e incongruenze che lo rendono un manufatto artigianale armonioso e genuino, costruito per l uso personale e non per le richieste decorative del mercato.
