Old Persian carpet with a very modern design. Knotted by the Lurs in southern Iran and collected in Shiraz, this carpet from the 1920s is bright with a graphically modern design, the pile is well preserved, it needs some small restoration and is not perfectly straight, given the nomadic nature and the wool warp, the slight skew is more than acceptable.
