Knotted in the first two decades of the 20th century, this very elegant large Shirvan runner, has a slightly lower area in pile, the wear, however minimal, can be mistaken for an Abrash. Fortunately, the carpet was owned by far-sighted people and honest merchants who did not color the carpet masking the area weakening it. Someone instead took care of restoring the carpet at the head.
