I don't like floral carpets, but when I find myself in front of certain masterpieces I can't help but change my mind. Let's leave aside for a moment the extraordinary finesse and quality of this carpet knotted during the reign of Shah Reza Pahlavi, and judge it only from an aesthetic point of view. Rigorous central round medallion design that stands out on a delightful background of a ...leggi tuttocolor between hazelnut and antique pink; in turn the extension of this vaguely rhomboidal center, stands out from the field of the very light, almost white, elliptical carpet. The extraordinary ability to combine three stylised geometric shapes in a harmonious whole studded with minute floral elements, reveals a delicate artistic sensitivity that only at the time found full expression. More than a million knots per square meter. Very soft silky wools and silkworm silk, manually inserted wefts expertly beaten with an iron comb. A truly great Nain!

Knotted after the Islamic revolution of 1978 and circulated in the West since 1982, these artifacts retain traditional designs and knotting manual; I propose only a rigorous selection.
